Mission Statement
At First Class Canines, we create personalised training programmes tailored to you and your dog. There is no one size fits all approach. We consider the dog's health, lifestyle and routine, as well as looking at any problem behaviours. Our job is to educate you in how to read your dog's body language, learn to problem solve and become more confident. Our training motivates both you and your dog to work together, creating a happier relationship, and creating a canine companion that fits into your every day life with ease.

Company Founder and Head Trainer
I have been studying and learning about dog training and behaviour for the past 5 years, since I brought home my own dog, Wilson. I fell in love with the process and wanted to create a personalised service for others to create a community of responsible dog owners. I have attended many online and in person training courses over the years and completed a mentorship with Honest Hounds, run by an accredited behaviourist.

Training Methods
My training methods are based on clear communication between you and your dog and will build a harmonious relationship based on trust and understanding. We will take a look at the whole picture, not just the behaviour, and use a holistic approach.
Training methods vary between each dogs as there is no one size fits all approach. We will use the least intrusive methods possible to communicate fairly what we want from the dog, using positive reinforcement to teach new skills.
We will utilise play, games, trust building exercises and training with food to enhance your communication skills.
